What I Do
I provide design leadership, streamline processes, and ensure clear communication. I enjoy creating and facilitating workshops and delivering projects that look great, function well, and support strategic goals. This approach encourages innovation and teamwork.
How I Combine Design and Business Goals
With hands-on design experience, I have a deep understanding of how digital product design and development work together. While leading teams toward their goals within an Agile framework, I focus on delivering consistent, high-quality user experiences that also support business objectives. I also enjoy working on design systems.
Skills
-
I am a natural leader, practicing service leadership to make work easy for design teams and stakeholders. I focus on empowerment, collaboration, and continuous learning.
I studied at Hyper Island UAS in Stockholm, graduating with distinction from the Design Lead program (previously Interactive Art Director) in 2017.
My business education also includes management studies at Haaga-Helia UAS and Business College Helsinki (1998–2005).
-
Design Operations removes friction so designers can focus on creativity and hands-on work. It aligns people, processes, tools, and design systems to scale design efficiently and connect work with business goals.
I build the structures that make design work — measuring impact, refining workflows, and creating clarity so teams can deliver their best.
I have completed DesignOps Assembly’s Learning Lab – Fundamentals of DesignOps (2023) and attended several Design Operations conferences to stay at the forefront of the field.
-
Design Systems ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across digital products. They provide shared guidelines, components, and patterns that help teams move faster while maintaining quality and coherence.
I have worked as a Design System Owner at Visma, where I built and maintained a design system used for Netvisor, an accounting and finance platform.
I focused on creating practical, user-centered components and processes that empower teams to deliver cohesive and high-quality user experiences.
-
Facilitation and workshop design is one of my strongest skills. I carefully prepare each session to ensure smooth, effective workshops and meetings.
I focus on making every participant heard and bringing together diverse perspectives to generate better insights and solutions.
-
Service Design is about creating seamless, user-centered experiences across touchpoints and channels. I focus on understanding user needs, business goals, and operational constraints to design services that truly work.
I map journeys, identify pain points, and design solutions that connect people, processes, and technology. My goal is to enable teams to deliver cohesive, meaningful, and impactful services.
-
UX/UI Design is about creating intuitive, human-centered digital experiences that balance usability, business goals, and visual clarity.
I have worked as a UX/UI Designer at Accountor Finago and Visma, focusing on accounting and finance platforms, and as a consultant, delivering solutions for clients including DVV. I have also designed digital experiences for Wowanders, a travel app.
My approach combines hands-on design, user research, and user testing to ensure solutions are both functional and engaging.
-
UX Writing and Content Design focus on clear, human-centered communication that guides users and enhances digital experiences.
I have created UX writing alongside UX/UI work, produced and edited content for client websites, and integrated UX writing into design system work. I have also coached other designers on effective content practices.
My background includes 10+ years in journalism, advanced studies in Finnish & English languages at Haaga-Helia UAS, and Content Design training, which together strengthen my ability to create concise, usable, and engaging content.

As AI takes over predictable and data-driven tasks, the real advantage for modern design teams lies in soft skills: empathy, communication, feedback, and psychological safety.
Research shows that AI complements rather than replaces human work. As technology grows smarter, leading with empathy and fostering psychological safety become essential to creativity and innovation.
As a design leader, I focus on building these conditions, bringing clarity to complex projects and ensuring people feel heard, supported, and empowered. I have also studied and taught feedback practices, helping teams give and receive feedback that strengthens trust, learning, and collaboration.

Agile is a flexible, iterative approach to project management, focused on delivering value quickly, adapting to change, and fostering collaboration. Scrum is one of the most popular Agile frameworks, organizing work into sprints with defined roles, ceremonies, and incremental delivery.
I enjoy working in agile ways—setting goals and plans, but adapting them as needed. I prioritize collaboration with stakeholders to avoid traditional waterfall approaches and ensure teams can respond to change effectively.
At Gofore, I held an internal role as Lead Expert for Agile Design & Leadership (2024–2025). I have applied Agile and Scrum frameworks across various teams and companies, hold a Scrum Master certificate (2020), and have completed Agile 101 training.

Don’t forget empathy. Let’s create together.
Understanding users is essential but so is recognising business needs. When we unite the two, we don’t just design solutions; we create experiences people truly value and businesses genuinely benefit from.
Currently I am looking for a new role as a design professional.
